GROUPN was engaged by West Tamworth Leagues Club to lead the Masterplanning and Architectural design for the Club’s new hotel and function room development. The project features a 55-room, 3-level, 4-star hotel currently branded as a Mercure, offering modern amenities including a swimming pool, gym, and meeting rooms. The hotel is seamlessly interconnected with both the Clubhouse and the new Function Centre, ensuring convenience and comfort for guests.
The Function Centre itself is a high-ceiling, flexible space designed to accommodate a wide variety of events, from weddings and conferences to presentations and social gatherings. Nestled within the renowned West Tamworth Leagues Club and directly connected to the Mercure Hotel, the Event Centre is a key venue for extraordinary events in the region.
Beyond its everyday function, the Event Centre plays a pivotal role during the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January and the Hats Off to Country Music Festival in July, further cementing West Tamworth Leagues Club’s position as a premier destination for entertainment and hospitality.
