Presented with a greenfield site adjacent to Cessnock Hospital, the client, Ambulance NSW, was keen and a client keen for aesthetic that addressed local characteristics in addition to their priority for an optimal functional layout.

Outcomes

• An attractive, purpose-built structure which addresses local characteristics
• A superior open-plan area for off-duty staff combining lounge, kitchen and barbeque
• Transitional secure zones and a functional flow layout to allow for safe and speedy delivery of medical supplies
