Centennial Park is an iconic district within Sydney recreational belt, a serene spot for repose, couched between a bustling metropolis and a stretch of comfortable residential neighbourhoods. Folded weathering steel blades screen the amenities from the fields which expand around. This extruded façade connotes shelter while allowing for an abundance of fresh air to this. The material selection of the counterposed blade wall reflects the surrounding stringy bark foliage which the building is nestled amongst.
