To shape the future, positively, actively, and comprehensively: at GROUPN, this commitment could not be more intrinsic to our ideology.

At GROUPN, we value environments that are uplifting and healthy as a whole. That’s why we’re committed to creating environments that not only sustain the life of the entire biosphere, but are resilient to the many challenges that the built realm endure.

As the providores of the built realm, architects have a responsibility to create, and leave behind, an environment that provides an ongoing positive impact, environmentally, socially, and even financially, and which generates no burden for those that follow us. At GROUPN, we believe this means buildings which are fundamentally resilient: not simply constructed with sustainable materials and practices, but durable, adaptable and built to stand the test of time.

Through our interdisciplinary research, extensive collaboration with experts, manufacturers and post-occupancy analytics, we aim to shape the future of construction and design practice. As construction practices improve, material use and provenance are honed and innovation redefines the delivery of the built environment, the test of our success will always be the undiminished pursuit of more equitable and ecologically sustainable environment.

Our projects benefit from well considered passive ESD solutions and project suitable active environmental initiatives. We design for quality indoor environment outcomes that promote the health and wellbeing of the building user. We collaborate with our clients, users, contractors and other stakeholders to achieve sustainability outcomes that are suitable to our clients’ vision, the project type, available budget and project expectations.

To minimise embodied energy and ongoing energy use is welcome but unremarkable benefit; to create a building which endures despite the impacts of nature, changing demands, and evolving taste is the mark of true sustainability.

As well as creating sustainable spaces for the resilient, liveable and economically prosperous communities of the future, more formal recognition of the sustainability achievements can be arranged by way of a certified Greenstar rating awarded by the Green Building Council of Australia.

At GROUPN, we value environments that are uplifting and healthy as a whole. That’s why we’re committed to creating environments that not only sustain the life of the entire biosphere, but are resilient to the many challenges that the built realm endure.
